National Star Sunrise Walk 2026

Put your best foot forward for young people with disabilities and transform lives with every step.

Our sponsored Sunrise Walk sets off from Ullenwood, Cheltenham, at 5.40am on Sunday 12 April 2026. There are two routes, a 13k route and a 3k route suitable for people with limited mobility, those using sturdy electric powered wheelchairs or children and pushchairs. Parking and registration open from 5am.

 

The beautiful routes will give you plenty of opportunity to soak up the stunning views around the Cotswolds, as well as the opportunity to welcome the new day as the sun peaks over the horizon. This is our fifth Sunrise Walk, let’s make it the biggest and brightest yet. Encourage your friends, partners, colleagues and family and even well-behaved dogs to join you in raising vital funds for National Star by signing up for the sponsored walk.

Ticket pricing

• Advance entry is £20 per adult (16 years old and over) and £10 per child.
• On the day, ticket prices are £35 per adult and £15 per child.
• We are asking each walker to raise a minimum of £50.

On the day

• 5 am – Parking and registration opens
• 5.30 am – Registration closes
• 5.40 am – Walkers depart
• 9 am – Walkers begin to return; complimentary breakfast is served.
• 11 am – Event ends
