Gloucester Half Marathon and 10k expected to raise more than £20,000 for Sue Ryder

More than 50 runners put their best foot forward and took on the Gloucester Half Marathon and 10K at the weekend in support of Sue Ryder, with the team expected to raise over £20,000 for the charity’s palliative and bereavement services.

Matt Reay, Community Fundraising Manager at Sue Ryder, said: “It was such a brilliant day and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who chose to run for Sue Ryder. Seeing such a strong team out on the course was really inspiring, and the support from families, friends, and donors meant so much.

“Every pound raised helps us continue providing expert, compassionate care for people going through the toughest times. Thank you to all our runners, your efforts genuinely make a difference.”
