Two Children's charities teaming up to hold an event in Gloucester

James Hopkins Trust are excited to be teaming up with Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust to host a brand new event which will be coming to Gloucester for 2026, Colour Up For Kids!
Get ready to get messy, smile big, and make a difference! Colour Up for Kids is a vibrant 5km fun run packed with colour, laughter, and feel-good vibes. This exciting event will take place on Saturday 9th May 2026 at Plock Court.
Along the course, you’ll dash, stroll, or dance your way through bursts of powdered paint, foam tunnels, bubble zones, inflatable obstacles, and uplifting music from start to finish. There’s no pressure, no timing chips, and no competition — just pure fun. Colour Up for Kids is open to all ages and abilities.
So, pull on your trainers, embrace the colour, and Colour Up for Kids — because having fun has never felt so meaningful. Tickets are available from £10 and can be purchased via the website: www.colourupforkids.co.uk

The James Hopkins Trust is a registered charity, established in 1989 and have helped well over 700 children and their families. We provide respite care for babies and children up to the age of 6 who have a life-limiting or life-threatening condition while supporting their families.
Our free nursing led respite can be received in the family home or at our purpose built multi-sensory respite centre and gardens ‘Kites Corner’, home of James Hopkins Trust. We currently support over 100 children from across Gloucestershire.
Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer
Childhood cancer is one of the most common causes of death in children in the UK. Every year, just over 4,000 children and young adults receive this life-changing diagnosis. The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust is working hard to raise awareness of childhood cancer signs and symptoms. They produce educational resources for parents and clinicians, provide support to families and fund research into rare cancers of childhood.
