What a score – Bristol housebuilder donates over £1,000 to local club

A Bristol housebuilder has donated £1,150 to support a local football club.
Redrow South West, which is currently building new homes at Frenchay Park, on Bristol Road, has presented Little Stoke FC with a donation as part of its Community Fund initiative.
The fund, which launched earlier this year, aims to help local organisations with specific donations that give them the tools they need to continue to thrive, and local causes were invited to apply for their share of a £10,000 pot.
Founded in the 1950s, Little Stoke FC is based in Bristol, and currently has over 70 players, with an expanding pool of talent across both its youth and senior teams. The club’s 1st team play in the Gloucestershire County League, while the reserve team and A’s compete in the Bristol Suburban League.
Ashley Coles, 1st Team Manager at Little Stoke FC, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Redrow South West for this generous donation. The funds will make a huge difference to the club and mean we can continue to provide a welcoming and exciting space for all our members.”
