Zurich insurance brings festive sparkle to Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice

Staff and patients at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice have been treated to a truly fir‑bulous Christmas surprise, thanks to the generosity of Zurich insurance.

The company donated Christmas decorations and helped to dress the chapel tree, creating a sparkling festive centrepiece. They also kindly gave some seasonal gifts for hospice staff, bringing an extra sprinkling of festive cheer.

Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice is Gloucestershire’s only inpatient unit for specialist palliative care, providing valuable care and support to people across the county.

Lisa Plumpton, Business Analyst from Zurich, said: “We are so proud to have been able to support Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice this Christmas. Everyone at the hospice works so hard all year round to provide much‑needed palliative care and bereavement support to local families. This is our way of saying thank you.”

Alysia Cameron‑Price, Fundraising Manager at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice, added: “I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Zurich for their kind donation. It means a lot, particularly at this time of year. Huge thanks also go to SDL solutions who generously donated the tree itself. The tree, decorations and gifts are all very gratefully received and help to spread even more festive cheer amongst staff and patients alike."
