Review: Wannabe -The Spice Girls Show

The songs of the chart-topping 90’s girl band ‘The Spice Girls’ were once again spicing up the atmosphere at Cheltenham Town Hall last Friday night.
The hit tribute show, ‘Wannabe - The Spice Girls Show’ took to the stage and performed track after track from the bands three studio albums.
The makeup, clothes and sound of the band transported me straight back to the ’90s and soon I was singing along to lyrics that had been buried in my subconscious for over 20 years.
The party atmosphere continued with Ginger, Baby and Sporty Spice all coming off stage to sing with the audience and strike their best girl power poses for selfies with fans.
Each spice girl had worked hard to mirror the style and characteristics of their famous idol and each brought their own energetic performance.
A real feel-good show with added audio commentary explaining the band's history and effect on the music industry.
Wannabe - The Spice Girls Show is continuing its nationwide tour until 1st February 2020.
