Do you enjoy BBC Antiques Roadshow and Bargain Hunt TV shows? This event is for you! We are holding an auction of books and stamps and inviting you to bring your own treasures (not limited to books) for valuation by our expert. Event start is 2 pm with free entry. There is free on-street parking. Venue is open from 11 am for auction preview. Enjoy an engaging talk from specialist auctioneer, Steven S Bruce, and we will also be serving light refreshments from our vintage style tea room. Our bookshop located at 150 High Street GL20 5JP (5 mins walk from the venue)will also be open from 11 am for shopping and browsing with over 2 floors of books waiting to be discovered. Why not make a day of it and enjoy the antiquarian and curiosity shops in town? A suggested donation of £5 is required for antique valuations to raise funds for "Hope for Tomorrow" cancer charity.
