Cheltenham Bournside School are holding a one day event, Teacher Taster Day on Tuesday 23rd, November 2021 from 8.30am - 3.00pm. Come along and 'have a go at teaching', find out if it is the career for you; this is a great pre-enrolment opportunity. You will work as part of a team, observe lessons, learn how to plan for a lesson and then teach your lesson to our students, all supported by our teaching staff.

 

A representative from one of our providers will join us later in the day to explain about the different pathways in to teaching and answer any questions you have about how to apply for a PGCE placement. We work with a number of providers, including: Bristol University, University of Worcester, University of Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire Initial Teacher Education Partnership (GITEP).
