We understand that a lot of businesses find it difficult to release all staff to attend training. For this reason, we are now running open courses at our training venue in Cheltenham to give organisations and individuals the opportunity to book onto a course with minimum disruption to the working day.

Falls Prevention Training
This training will provide formative knowledge and understanding as to why falls occur in hospitals, residential care homes, nursing homes and the community. We will explore possible strategies for preventing and managing falls to improve the quality of care and support given to vulnerable individuals.

ReSPECT Training including DNAR/ADRT
Demystifying ReSPECT, DNAR and ADRT awareness is targeted at health & social care staff who are caring for people who may be elderly or have life-limiting conditions. Staff will be able to understand the differences between the three documents and learn how they work in communicating the wishes of their residents should they require emergency treatment.

Why, when and how the forms are used to convey the wishes of the person, including case studies and discussions around this emotive subject.

You can attend the courses as an individual or a number of your staff can be booked onto the course. There are a maximum of 15 places available.
