Wear Your Pyjamas To Walk For Great Oaks Hospice

As many of you are aware we hold our Annual Moonlight Walk to help raise money for Great Oaks Hospice. This year our walk due to take place on Friday 5th June needs to be done in a very different way and we need to ensure that everyone who wishes to take part will act in accordance with Government Guidelines and only walk with members of their family living in the same house or walk using social distancing measures.

Our Walk this year will have a theme of ‘Wear Your Pyjamas To Walk For Great Oaks’ and can be done during any time of the day or evening as part of your permitted daily exercise. This year you can also involve your children too and walk for 5000 steps or cover a distance of 5k if you would prefer as we appreciate that the usual distance of 5 miles will be too much for any especially if you are walking with young children. You can walk wherever you choose as long as it is safe to do so. This year we won’t be able to supply goody bags to hand out but are asking for a suggested £5 donation per person or £10 for a family walking together. Please click here to donate. We would then love you to share your photos of you walking in your Pyjamas and a prize will be given for both the most original adult and child’s Pyjamas/ Outfits.

We are living in very challenging times and we still need to have some fun, take exercise and support Great Oaks so please share this with your friends to let them know it’s still happening and we look forward to seeing your photos on this page where they will all be displayed.
