Choral jazz on a summer's evening: Mass in Blue & Misa Criolla

The Cheltenham Bach Choir's annual summer concert features two wonderful pieces this year. Will Todd’s Mass in Blue is an exuberant, funky and cool jazz take on the Mass, where we will be joined by the fabulous Hannah Davey on the soaring vocals. Complementing this is Argentine composer, Ariel Ramírez’ Misa Criolla - an extraordinary and beautiful work, made famous in José Carreras’ recording. For both works we will be joined by the Dom Franks Jazz Quintet. A summer’s evening choral concert with a difference!
