Comedy Huddle at Smokey Joe's

Join us for a playful evening of sharing humour in a cosy space. There will be a great lineup of varied comedians including:

Fantastic Headliner – Lovell Smith - Ex-champion bodybuilder Lovell started comedy mid 2019, after deciding modeling on that type of stage wasn’t the right platform moving forward. After only a few initial shows and months, working the circuits, Lovell won the prestigious Midlands Best New Act Award 2019. He shares wonderful relatable stories about parenting and daily life.

Hasan Al-Habib - Arab. Brummy. Muslim. Hasan Al-Habib is “Deliciously funny” (The Guardian), “super talented” (Mae Martin) and “F***ing brilliant” (Limmy)

Phil Jerky - Witty, crude, and irreverent, Phil shares the more ridiculous side of living with a disability, and the odd knob gag.

Joanna Surowiec – playful polish import who set up the Comedy Huddle to share joy.

Matt Pugsley – Popular with audiences across Wales and the West, Matt Pugsley combines his dry wit and cynical view of the world to create a side splitting blend of rapid fire one liners and hilarious short stories. An emerging talent, Pugsley has earned rave reviews from some of the region's best comedy nights, and has performed alongside established names at some of the UK’s biggest comedy clubs.

Doors open 7.00 pm for 8.00 pm start but why not come early for a drink or a bite at Smokey Joe's? It's a wonderful family-owned place with great food and a long history. If you'd like dinner, please aim to eat before the comedy starts. Book a table early by contacting Smokey Joe's. The food won’t be served during the comedy night.
