7pm outside Mariners Chapel - next to Victoria Basin, the Docks, Gloucester, GL1 2EN. (This event is organised by Gloucester Humanitarian Aid) 

 

We will stand with Ukraine 🇺🇦

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for people around the world to turn out in squares, on streets and in schoolyards in support of Ukraine.

"From this day and after that, show your standing. Come from your offices, your homes, your schools and universities. 

Come in the name of peace. Come with Ukrainian symbols to support Ukraine, to support freedom, to support life. 

Come to your schoolyards, your streets,

Say that people matter, freedom matters, peace matters, Ukraine matters."

OUR EVENT WILL BE HELD THURSDAY 14th APRIL. 7PM.

AND EVERY THURSDAY THEREAFTER

Bring your flags, banners, peace signs and let’s show the world GLOUCESTER stands with UKRAINE.

We have lots of singing, poems, balloon release with messages you can write to those in Ukraine(with biodegradable balloons) and this week, even more so, we have a special surprise for the children so bring your families down. This is a peaceful event 😌

We have donation buckets if you wish to donate, all funds go directly to: Gdańsk Foundation, which is a long established Polish charity who will the use the money to help the Ukrainian people fleeing their country.
