The Cheltenham Festival of Cycling returns on Sunday 1 September 2019 at Montpellier Gardens from 11.00am.

Join us for a day and get close to the action as the heart of Cheltenham is transformed into a cycle track. Returning this autumn but with a difference, the September event will be a criterium, an adrenaline fuelled road race where competitors complete as many laps as possible within a given time.

The roads will be closed from 6am to midnight on Sunday 1st September 2019, so please bear that in mind when travelling around Cheltenham.

All ages and abilities welcomed.

The September 2019 festival will take place from 11am to 8.30pm. Alongside the races which are listed below, with the times and categories, we've also got a Let's Ride event. This free event is for all ages and abilities and will give everyone the chance to test out the track before the race cyclists take it on.

Whilst you're here, don't forget to check out the event village, there's plenty on including a junior cycle course, the chance to test out electric bikes with William's Cycles and even the opportunity to get a sports massage with a donation towards No Child Left Behind campaign. The campaign strives to make sure children and young people across the borough have opportunities to thrive.

Aside from all of this exciting activity, we've got plenty of places to eat and drink, both in the event village and throughout Montpellier.

4.00pm Podium - 3/4 category
4.15pm - 4.45pm Race - Corporate Relay
5.00pm Podium - Corporate Relay
5.00pm - 5.45pm  Race - Elite Womens
6.00pm Podium - Elite Womens
6.30pm - 7.45pm Race - Elite
8.00pm Final Winner's Podium

There is also the event village, so do support the traders and stand holders.
