Grief's Alphabet - Carrie Etter and Tim Relf

Cheltenham

Dates: 20/04/2024

Venue: Cheltenham Friends' Meeting House

Acclaimed poet Carrie Etter will be reading from her new collection ‘Grief's Alphabet’ (Seren Books) and talking about how to write about loss at this year's Cheltenham Poetry Festival.

The collection is a memoir of a daughter-mother relationship and a poetic exploration of how the author is navigating the loss of a cherished parent. In this fascinating event, Carrie Etter talks to best-selling novelist/poet Tim Relf about the book and her writing. Tim will also be reading.

And if you too are exploring the theme artistically, you may like to ask questions about how to tackle the complex subject of grief in poetry.
