Held every August Bank Holiday in Gloucester, Witcombe Festival is one of the fastest growing music festivals in the UK!

Joining us for our 10th anniversary is the most requested artists we’ve ever had, Chase & Status, as well as the king of grime revival, Bugzy Malone!

Gardna, Tom Zanetti, Ellie Sax, Goddard, Not3s, TS7, VenBee + 80 more artists!

We’ve even got a mega Secret Superstar up our sleeves too… all will be revealed on this front soon 👀

 

Over the years, we’ve brought British and international music icons to the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside including Sean Paul, Craig David, Rudimental, Sigala, Bru-C, Tinie Tempah, Dizzee Rascal, Annie Mac, John Newman, Plan B, Faithless, Joel Corry, Andy C, Sigma, Ella Eyre, Example, Raye and Basement Jaxx to name a few.

But where did it all begin?

🌟 Where it all started..

The very first Witcombe Festival took place in 2012 when founder Joe Pointon started making his own organic Cider; “Pointon’s Cider”. Realising that he’d made way too much cider for one man to drink, he decided to throw a big party!

Taking place at Witcombe Cricket Club with only one small marquee, a stage, collections of ciders, a few local bands, X-factor finalist Kitty Brucknell as the main headliner and around 200 attendees, Witcombe Cider Festival was born.

🌟 Fast forward to 2022…

The event now attracts over 25,000 attendees across the weekend and has no plans to stop growing!

We dropped the word ‘cider’ from our name following a rebrand in 2020 to become the Witcombe Festival you know today. We also moved to a new, larger home in Brockworth in 2018 to accommodate the growing number of Witcombers!

But despite our tremendous growth, we still remain attached to our roots – music and cider.

The latest 2022 festival was absolutely mind-blowing. A record breaking number of tickets were sold and our Super Sold Out Sunday was up there as one of the greatest days of all time!

We’re working harder than ever to bring you the very best of Witcombe Festival throughout the years for our 10th Anniversary Special!

The line up is yet to be announced but we already have some huge stars making their way to Gloucester in August 2023… you won’t want to miss this!
