Pink Floyd Meets Pipe Organ as Everything Under The Sun
Return to Tewkesbury Abbey

Tewkesbury Abbey is welcoming back Everything Under The Sun on Saturday 17th October, a year on from their sell-out performance at the former Benedictine monastery.

The 7-piece collective, which features the pipe organs of the historic venues they perform in as an integral part of the band, is continuing its autumn tour celebrating two iconic Pink Floyd albums with a return to Tewkesbury, following acclaimed recent performances at Huddersfield Town Hall and Shrewsbury Abbey, before continuing to Lancaster Town Hall and culminating at Carlisle Cathedral.

Audience members will be treated to powerful interpretations of both Wish You Were Here and The Dark Side of the Moon in full, along with other classic Pink Floyd cuts in a two-hour show, enhanced by the Abbey’s magnificent and historic Milton pipe organ and accompanied by atmospheric synchronised video.

Everything Under The Sun combine the grandeur of historic pipe organs with the raw energy of a rock band, creating a one-of-a-kind live experience, blending the old with the new in an exhilarating celebration of important musical works. This is not a tribute band performance, but a carefully curated celebration of Pink Floyd’s music, bringing together rock, classical instrumentation and immersive visuals in the ethereal Norman architecture of the Abbey.

Everything Under The Sun came together in early 2023 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Dark Side of the Moon with a free concert at St Mary's Church in Warwick, after organist Colin Millington FRCO (Director of Music at Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-upon-Avon) had the beginnings of an idea that grew organically (pun intended).

Three years later, Everything Under The Sun have performed their acclaimed celebration in venues including Coventry Cathedral (2024 and 2025), Hull Minster, Llandaff Cathedral, Leicester Cathedral, Bradford Cathedral, Blackburn Cathedral, Tewkesbury Abbey, and Shrewsbury Abbey and are performing five shows in the autumn as the final leg of the tour, stopping at Huddersfield Town Hall, Shrewsbury Abbey, Tewkesbury Abbey, Lancaster Town Hall and Carlisle Cathedral.

Colin Millington FRCO: “It has been an incredible three years celebrating The Dark Side of the Moon and now Wish You Were Here in some amazing buildings, which has allowed me to combine my passion for organ playing and Pink Floyd. I knew I wanted to celebrate the 50 years of both these albums in some way and incorporating the pipe organ into the albums has proved to be a great challenge. Working with such a fantastic and diverse range of musicians has brought new life to the albums for me and the music has brought us all together in such an organic fashion.”
