CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREATHWORK

Cheltenham

Sam Merron

CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREATHWORK - A THERAPY WITHOUT WORDS.

Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) is a type of therapy, which opens the doorway into an altered state of consciousness similar to the effects of taking plant medicine but with the practitioner being able to stop at any time during the process.

This is ideal for anyone with an open mind, those who feel emotionally stuck, suffer with anxiety, a sadness they can’t explain, Repeating the same patterns of self-sabotaging behaviour, lost their zest for life.   Anyone who would like less stress and more peace.

By the practice of breathing with no pause between the inhale and exhale, known as circular breathing, many changes begin to take place.  After 10-20 mins the volume turns down from the constant commentary in our head, the monkey mind or Egoic mind as it is known which is located in our Default Mode Network.

The DMN usually puts the brakes on us accessing all our painful memories and emotional blockages which can be held from as far back as birth to present day.  Storing these can use up to 75% of our body's energy, leaving us constantly tired or even manifesting as a physical illness.

Think of how many times in your life you have suppressed traumatic events or stopped your tears, fears, anger, love, or laughs because of your conditioning. You may recognise sayings such as ‘big boys don’t cry, “stiff upper lip”, or even have a stiff drink” all leading you to push your emotions away, escape them or stay in a depressed state.

CCB can be like opening a huge dam and letting these trapped emotions and experiences out, which are often inaccessible through conventional talking therapies. CCB reopens the channels in our bodies for the free expression of emotional energy.

When we feel stress, we are feeling the effects of an emotion that is stuck or blocked in our bodies, so unless we get to the root cause any other stress relieving methods are a temporary fix.  This is why on average I would recommend booking at least four sessions to start with to release what you have been holding onto.

Learn to trust the breath and let go of what they have been suppressing. Everyone has a unique experience and each Breathwork can be different, but many participants feel:

Less stress and more peace

More energy

Self- Realisation of our true nature

De-stressing the nervous system.

A spiritual experience

The chance to heal a repressed trauma that has surfaced.

The ability to feel emotions in our everyday life instead of pushing them away and recognise when they halt your growth if not dealt with.

They experience better sleep.

Why are there multiple price options?

As a wellbeing and educational charity, The Isbourne aims to make its courses and workshops accessible to all regardless of income. We have researched how other organisations fund their courses and come up with a three tier pricing system:

Supported rate: this fee is less than the Standard and allows anyone with financial challenges to still participate. You do not have to show proof, this is offered on trust.

Standard rate: this is how much we would like all participants to pay as it covers The Isbourne costs and supports the tutor.
Sponsor rate: this is a little more than the Standard fee and allows you to subsidise and support others who might not be able to pay the Standard fee.

You choose what tier of payment best suits you - no questions asked!
