Reiki Level 1 Training - Beginners

Led by Janie Whittemore, Registered Reiki Master Teacher and Certified Havening Techniques Practitioner with over 25 years’ experience, offering a calm and supportive space to learn.

If you’ve been curious about Reiki and want to learn it in a way that feels calm, clear, and real, this is a good place to start. You don’t need to be particularly intuitive or “spiritual” to learn this - Janie will guide you through it step by step.

This one-day training gives a grounded, practical introduction to Reiki; how it works, what you’re doing, and how to use it in everyday life. No prior experience is needed.

Janie keeps things simple and well explained, so you’re not left second guessing yourself. By the end of the day, you’ll know what you’re doing and feel confident using Reiki for yourself and others.

On the day, you will:

·       Learn Reiki in a clear, easy to follow way

·       Receive your Level 1 attunement

·       Practise giving and receiving Reiki with guidance

·       Understand what you’re feeling and how to trust it

·       Build real confidence, not just knowledge

 

You will understand what you’re doing and why, not just follow a process.

 

This is a small group, so there is time to ask questions and settle into it properly. You will leave with something you can use, and a deeper sense of connection to yourself.

 

Most people are surprised by how easy and natural Reiki actually feels when it is taught this way, and are delighted when they experience the energy for the first time.

Places are limited to keep the group small and supported. You can also join the monthly Reiki Practice Circle for ongoing support.

For this session, you may want to bring your own:

·       Pen and paper or a personal notebook for a Reiki journal

·       A shawl or wrap in case of changing temperatures

·       A small crystal you already own, or you can borrow one from Janie on the day

·       Any specific refreshments you might need. Water, tea and coffee are available, and there are local places to buy food

About your tutor: 

Janie has been helping people with Reiki since 1996, and has been a Reiki Master Teacher since 2005. After managing The Isbourne Centre for several years, Janie has focused on her own business since November 2016, teaching and working with clients through bespoke healing sessions and intuitive work.
