Gloucester Goes Retro at The Folk

Venue: The Folk of Gloucester, 99-103 Westgate Street GL1 2PG

As part of this citywide celebration of vintage fashion, music and design, The Folk will be focusing on the 1920s-40s with a FREE day of music, dance and a display of vintage radios.

Schedule:

11am: Learn the Charleston in a free drop-in dance session

12 - 12:45pm and 1:15 - 2pm: Live music from Katy Sirr - the songs of Cole Porter and George Gershwin

All day: exhibition of vintage valve radios

All day: "What Are YOU Listening To" - special exhibition of music memorabilia and stories from the local community

Close: 4pm

The cafe and bar will be open throughout the day serving lunches, snacks and hot and cold drinks. Our historic building will be open and free to look around.
