A free exhibition featuring personal objects, stories and images connected with campaigns from the last 100 years in Gloucestershire including:
- Peace campaigns
- Environmental campaigns
- Campaigns for equality and human rights
- Strikes and disputes including the General Strike of 1926
The exhibition runs from Saturday the 2nd to Thursday the 23rd of May at The Folk of Gloucester's 500-year-old historic building on Westgate Street.
Opening times: Tuesdays-Saturdays 10am-4pm
This exhibition is part of a month-long programme of events at The Folk of Gloucester to mark the 1926 general strike, including theatre, music, film screenings and talks. More details can be found on The Folk of Gloucester website.
