We hope you enjoy uncovering hidden corners of Cheltenham and perhaps view some familiar streets in a new light!

This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, led by Cheltenham Borough Council.

In preparing these stories, we have worked closely with stakeholders who share a passion for the heritage of Cheltenham. We recognise that ten stories can only ever be the tip of the iceberg, and that Cheltenham's heritage is rich, layered and continually evolving. We hope that, in the future, we will be able to reveal and share many more stories. For now, we invite you to enjoy these selections, share your own stories, and celebrate both the historic and more recent heritage of Cheltenham.

If you would prefer to explore with a paper map, walking routes can be accessed from The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum and the Tourist Information Centre at the Town Hall. When exploring, please note that some terrain may be uneven. Take care when crossing roads, remain aware of potential hazards, and dress appropriately for the weather.
