This week a new exciting activity opened at the Brewery in Cheltenham.

Escape Hunt deliver live escape room adventures as well virtual reality experiences.

Our family booked the Alice in Puzzleland adventure and upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who explained the rules and how the room worked.

Then we were in the room. It really felt like we had stepped into Wonderland and the scene of the mad hatters tea party. A voice told us that the Queens tarts had been stolen and it was up to us to solve the clues and find the missing tarts to save the Hatter. We started searching the room for clues and anything that moved, twisted or opened. Soon we were on the trail, the clues were brilliantly designed and suitable for the whole family to feel involved but also challenged our brain power and imaginations.

With the help of few small prompts from the staff, who were always at hand with the ring of a bell, we eventually found the tarts and rescued the day with minutes to spare.

All of us got totally immersed in the hunt for clues and were delighted when we solved the final clue and discovered the missing tarts. The whole experience got a massive thumbs up from the kids and adults - we will definitely be back to try another room soon!
