Punch Needle Workshop

If you love colour and texture then this is the workshop for you! Based on the ancient craft of Rug Making come and have a go at Punch Needle.

Threading a hollow needle with lovely yarn you will be shown how to produce the flat stitch and the loop stitch to create your very own “Lucy” design. With the design already drawn on the cloth, you will punch the design in to a special cloth called "Monks cloth" which will be stretched taught over a wooden frame leaving you with a colourful, textured abstract piece of work.

All materials are included and you’ll be able to take your kit away with you so you can finish your project at home.
